My Life Is Average

So, I found this site called My Life is Average, Also called MLIA. It's the funniest thing on earth. Here are some things I found on there:
Today, in class, my teacher said something about loaning out the movie 'The Ring' from our library. My friend, who is new at school, said, completely innocently, "I will take the Ring, although I do not know the way." Our whole class burst out laughing, and nine of us raised our hands to volunteer to show her the way to the movie section. My teacher said, "Nine companions. So be it. You will be the Fellowship of the Ring."
Today, I was feeling a bit depressed that America seemed to rule the world - most famous people seem to be American. Here in England, Obama is more famous than our Prime Minister! Then I remembered, Twilight was from an American author and Harry Potter was from an English author. I feel like, for once, we have won.
Today i remembered my child fantasy that when i had children, my daughter's name would be Estella (who i'd call Stella) and she would fall in love with a boy named Damon. Why did i remember this fantasy?? My 20 year old daughter Estella came home with a boy who she has been seeing. His name? Damon, i have high hopes for this relationship.
Today, I held a door open for a girl. Not only did she thank me but she went in. It was the Men's Restroom.

Today I got stopped going through airport security. Why? Because all the airport staff wanted to look at my amazing socks.

Today, at work, a little girl probably no older than 7 came up to me at my stand and asked me if I liked Justin Bieber. I thought since she was little, she probably did, so I didn't want to upset her and said "He's not my favorite singer." She came back with "HE? You mean she's a BOY?!" I love children.

Most People will admit to singing in the shower, however my college roommate and I used to wait to take showers at the same time so that we could have duets from Wicked in our adjacent shower stalls.

For Christmas my best friend bought me a life size cut-out of Edward Cullen. I wasn't quite sure how I was going to make use out of the creepy, glaring, cardboard face. When my sister came home from college, we put it behind the door, so when she opened it, there was a man staring at her. She screamed and we have been placing him all around our house for the past week. Edward has ended up in dark corners, closets, bathrooms, and cars. I can't wait until my sister takes a shower tonight and sees what's behind her shower curtain.

Today, I got a txt from a random stranger that said, "Do not eat the next banana you see." Out of curiousity, I went to the kitchen and picked up a banana and opened it. It was half rotten. This is so cool.

Today one of my friends told me that the day before she had hid in her brother's backseat as he drove to work and popped out singing, "Hi Ho Hi Ho! It's off to work we go!" I remember why we're friends now.

Today, my mom sent me a text saying, "No homework today?" I replied, "I am doing homework." She said, "I'm watching you." Trying to be creepy, I replied, "I'm watching you watching me." Her reply? "Don't look in the closet." I'm scared now. I've been out-creeped by my mom.

Today In Health Class

...NO, it's not what you think it is!

We were in the computer lab, creating seven day meal plans using an online software. I got bored of that, so i pulled up my blog and was browsing through it, when the girl next to me sees the pic of what I want my Halloween Costume to be.

Girl: What's that?

Me: What I'm going to be for Halloween.

Girl: It looks like a chick.

Me: IT'S A GUY, thank you very much.

Girl: It can't be! That's definitely a chick!

Me: If you think THAT'S a guy, you should see Hizaki!

Girl: Whatever. *goes back to work*

Me: *fuming, opens up google images and types in "Versailles Hizaki"* Look, that's Hizaki.

Girl: *mouth drops open* THAT CAN'T POSSIBLY BE A GUY!

Naturally, she says this VERY LOUD. So everyone else in the lab is interested in what all the commotion is. After a brief explanation, I ended up fighting valiantly against those in class that began calling the band "gay" and attempting to shoot them down.

On top of it all, that girl turns out to be a Bieber fan.

I'm surrounded by mundanes!

Weenfump

Yeah, so on car ride home from church, I asked "If someone says 'I'm going outside to get some air' then what was he breathing inside?"

Mom laughed. And then we tried to find an answer to the question. We ended up talking about air pumps, and I said:

"No! Not air pumps, WEENFUMPS!"

You see, the Weenfump is our little family joke. My Grandfather came up with it, although he swears it actually exists.Supposedly it pumps steam and was made in Europe.

I love my crazy family.

Novel Plan

So I downloaded an awesome software called FreeMind, and used it to plan my Novel. Here's the result.

You have to click it to see the full size.

Book Publicity

I checked a book out of the library yesterday called "Publicize Your Book!" An Insider's Guide to Getting Your Book the Attention It Deserves"

It's very helpful! There are detailed descriptions of what goes on in publishing house, the process of putting a book on the market, and much more! I'm definitely using this to help me get Nocturne's Sorrow published...once I write it. hehehehe.

Titles Galore

Okay, so my NaNo novel has had a lot of titles. Here's a list:
  1. Lonely Serenade
  2. Songmaster
  3. Sorrow's Nocturne
  4. Nocturne's Sorrow
It was Songmaster for the longest time, until I found out that it was also the title for a Science Fiction with a homoerotic subplot. And when I changed it, I had to change the MC's name too, so it would fit with the title!

Yep. My MC, Songmaster, has been renamed "Nocturne"

So Annoying!

My sister is having her birthday party today. That means a bunch of screaming sixth grade girls getting hyper of cake, ice cream and cola and chatting NON-STOP. I'm tempted to run off to a friend's house and beg to spend the night there (the only thing stopping me is that it's dark out and I'm terrified of the dark).

Yes. I am 15 and a half and terrified of the dark. You may laugh.

If their incessant chatter continues, I will be unable to sleep tonight. THAT WILL NOT MAKE ME HAPPY. NOT AT ALL.

I wish I could trade my sister for one of my MC's...that would be AWESOME.

My God...The IMAGES!

So I was showing my teacher a video of Versailles, and she asks -
"Do they sing ballads?"
And OMG...the mental images that simple question started were just HORRIFYING. I pictured Kamijo, sitting on a stool, with an acoustic guitar, singing a ballad. IT WAS TERRIBLE! *whimpers*

Remember the Titans

So, in Writer's Workshop we had to watch Remember the Titans, because we're going to do a movie review on it. At first I was a little iffy, because it was a football movie, but it's a really good movie, now that I've seen it!

And I really liked the SHOCKING plot twist near the end. It's like "yay, they won the game...HOLY ****! I was NOT expecting THAT!" (For those of you who haven't seen it, I won't spoil it. If you want to know, WATCH THE MOVIE! It's awesome!)

yeah, so that's it. Ciao.

Novel Summary

So I decided to post a summary of the novel I'll be writing in November on here, just in case I forget or something. Here goes!

Helena and her two elder sisters, Theresa and Kiera, inherit their great-aunt's Chateau in the French countryside. The Chateau de Solitude dates back to the Renaissance and is perhaps one of the most grand of Chateaus from that time. Naturally, the sisters are ecstatic. The first day there is spent excitedly exploring the grounds of their new home. However, when night falls and ghostly singing can be heard, the sisters become frightened.

When morning dawns, Theresa and Kiera flee the Chateau, but Helena stays. She is unwilling to return to her totalitarian mother, so she takes it upon herself to discover the source of the singing - and if possible, put a stop to it. The next few weeks she studies the records of the Chateau and examines every nook and cranny, only to discover absolutely nothing about the ghostly voice that sings at night.

But one night when she is wandering sleeplessly down the corridors, she comes upon an amazing scene - standing in the moonlight is a man, singing the same song she hears every night. Helena attempts to speak to him, but he ignores her and walks away.

Afterward Helena just ignores the man, until she stumbles upon a secret room - the music room, which houses a beautiful concert grand. Being a lover of music, Helena is eager to play such a magnificent instrument. As she plays the song that is on the sheet music before her, she is stunned when the mysterious man reappears to play a duet with her. After the song is over, the man introduces himself as Songmaster, and the two strike up a friendship that will soon blossom into much more.

Wow I'm Dumb

Remember the last post, about Versailles coming to Indiana?

Well, I read the abbreviation of the state's name wrong. It said ID, which I thought was Indiana, but it's really Idaho. THAT'S EVEN FARTHER AWAY THAN INDIANA.

Tuesday, October 19, 2010

Oh. My. God.

Versailles is giving a concert in Indiana less that 3 weeks from now.

VERSAILLES. My favorite band. In AMERICA.

If I want to go, I need to raise 500 dollars in 14 days.

Help! How am I supposed to raise that much money? I need ideas!

NaNoWriMo won't let me on the forums!!!

This is so frustrating! The NaNo forums won't load properly! WHY?????!!!!!

Okay Danielle, calm down...*deep breaths* Okay...maybe a picture of Kamijo will calm me down!
*swoons*

Oh yeah, I'm working on a special project! But until it's done, it's a secret! *winks*

Maru Music - CHECK IT OUT

There is a site I found called Maru Music, which sells merchandise of Japanese Visual Kei and Gothic bands. Versailles falls under the category of Visual Kei, so naturally Maru Music sells their merch.

CHECK IT OUT!

http://marumusic.com/nstore/bands/versailles.html

Today at Church - Totally Unrealistic Fantasies

So I was at church, and since I NEVER go to the service (I attend Sunday School, but that's it, the service always puts me to sleep) I was pacing the halls, because pacing fuels amazing ideas and daydreams. But I was listening to Versailles on my MP3 as I paced...so...

Pretty much what happened is that I imagined Versailles moving into my neighborhood over the summer to see what life was like in America (I know, Versailles would NEVER visit a little Hick town...) and I meet them. But in this dream, I have learned fluent Japanese. So we get to talking and they make me a deal - if I teach them English, they will teach me how to play guitar. I agreed and over the next few months I become a guitar master. Then, they invite me to join their band. I immediately accept the offer (of course XD) and we begin touring.

That is SO never going to happen...

Untitled, Unfinished Story

Is this worth finishing?

Eons ago in world where things impossible were everyday occurrences, the three Guardians of Life came into being. There was Aquana, a beautiful woman who ruled over beauty, intellect, and the sea; Terrari, A simple yet lovely woman who governed virtue, agriculture and the earth; and finally Moenakk, A handsome man who embodied battle, air, and flame.
One day they looked upon the world, and a culture that they had not seen before had appeared. This had happened before, so they paid no attention to it. But the culture began to adopt inhuman practices, such as slavery. They built up an army and started to carve a path of blood across the world, conquering and burning.
The Guardians were appalled by such horrible acts. They wanted to unseat this cruel empire, but the laws of the Universe prevented them from directly interfering with human affairs. Aquana and Terrari went into a state of mourning, as they were convinced that the end of their precious world was near.
But while his sisters wept, Moenakk planned. He could not directly unseat the Empire, but he could give a small nudge in that direction. He went to the world of humans in disguise and began to seek a hero. And one day, he found one.

            “Hurry up, girl!”
It was all Aya could do not to glare at her taskmaster, because that would just get her whipped. She grunted in acknowledgement and increased her pace. Aya hated hauling feed sacks. Out of all the jobs she did, it was by far the most exhausting. She much preferred working in the kitchens, where the worst part was the sheer monotony. But hauling feed sacks made her stronger, so she did it as often as possible. She wanted to be strong enough to one day escape her captors.
Aya was a slave. When she was still a newborn, the Namors invaded her village and took the people captive – those who resisted were “disposed of” by the Namors. Her mother was also a slave. She worked as a maid for the governor, who was fat and ugly and vain as a peacock. Aya never knew her father. Her mother, Kanniyah, said he was a traveler who she met in the forest one day, but that was all she would say. When people asked his name, she’d respond “He had many.” And she would refuse to say anymore.
Aya never pressed the issue. Truth be told, she wasn’t all that curious to know who her father was. He wasn’t here, so he wasn’t important, that was her philosophy. He probably doesn’t care. Aya thought bitterly. If he did, he’d be here right now.
The taskmaster blew his whistle to signal the ten-minute lunch-break, and Aya inwardly sighed with relief. She took a small wrapped bundle out of her pocket, the lunch her mother had packed for her this morning. It would be the same as usual – hard biscuits. But when she opened it, she saw instead a small loaf of bread and some soft cheese. And a note. After getting over the initial shock of the small luxury – she could hardly believe it, real cheese! – She read the note.
Happy Birthday, Aya. You’re officially 15. Love, Mom.
Oh yeah, it was her birthday. She never kept track anymore. The days just seemed to blur together. Aya wolfed down the bread and cheese, savoring the taste of a decent meal. She had just finished when the taskmaster blew the whistle to work again.
Sighing, Aya followed the other slaves to the pile of feed sacks and went back to work. Her friend Dinal, a boy her age, fell into step beside her. “Did you hear?” He asked. “The Namors are launching another attack on Fenrir’s Hollow.”
Aya shook her head. “They never learn.” She said with a sigh. “As long as Moenakk’s blessing is on Fenrir’s Hollow, they will never fall. And there’s the Battle Academy to consider.”
Fenrir’s Hollow was a small community of warriors and scholars to the far North, home of the prestigious Battle Academy. The founder of the Academy, Philnor, was a warrior who was revered in his time. He was very old now, but he could still fight and he taught the elite classes at the Academy.
Also, Moenakk, the Guardian of Battle, had blessed Fenrir’s Hollow with his divine protection. All armies lost half of their men before they even reached the Hollow due to a strange sickness that only affected those with ill-intent. Messengers and traveling merchants could visit the Hollow without any trouble from the sickness. When armies finally arrived at the Hollow, they would face an army of elite warriors and archers. Fenrir’s Hollow had never lost a battle in their entire history.
“If I ever was freed, I’d want to go to the Battle Academy and become a warrior.” Dinal said with eyes lit up. “Then I could become a Legend, like Taheen!”
Aya raised an eyebrow. “Taheen?” She questioned. “Never heard of him.”
Dinal looked shocked. “He’s the coolest Legend ever!” He exclaimed. “He’s an instructor at the Battle Academy, he teaches only the best of the best.” Suddenly he frowned. “But there’s a rumor that there’s a man stronger than him wandering the earth.”
“Oh?” Aya was curious. “Tell me about him.”
“He calls himself Reak.” Dinal explained. “People first began to spread the rumor about his strength when he came into a town and found it ransacked by some rogue Namorian soldiers. They had taken a bunch of the children – probably for slave purposes – and when they told Reak about it, he was livid. He tracked down the soldiers and killed them all, and there were fifteen of them! Nobody knows how he did it, but he did.”
Aya was entranced by the story.

That's all I have.

WHY ME??!!

WHY?! WHY must I be stupid enough to drop my MP3 in a puddle so that it won't work anymore?! *cries* I loved that MP3!

The Imaginary Asylum

Yah, I was bored in History...so I wrote this...

BrokenBeast: Anyone here?

CrazyNovelist: Pancake! *glomps* how are you?

BrokenBeast: *glomps back* I'm good! Today I wrote out the Ten Commandments of Kamijoism. I was bored in Science.

RileyRocks1016: Ooh! Can we see it?

CodeBlack: That is awesome that you did that! Can I see?

BrokenBeast: It's on my blog.

CrazyNovelist: *goes to Pancake's blog*

BrokenBeast: Today in History I had to give a presentation on Louis XVI *nods*

CodeBlack: Adele, your Ten Commandments are really funny!

BrokenBeast: Thanks!

RileyRocks1016: They are so true. *nods*

BrokenBeast: Power to the Kamijoists! Versailles for the win!

CrazyNovelist: Yes! *huggles Kamijo*

CodeBlack: *listening to Versailles* Kamijo...*dreamy eyes*

BrokenBeast: *cuddles imaginary Kamjo plush* He is SO gorgeous!

RileyRocks1016: Beastie, who are you stalking today?

BrokenBeast: I was kidding about the stalking thing. Just like I was kidding about being a vamp.

CrazyNovelist: What?! A vamp?! When was this?!

BrokenBeast: Long story. XD

10 Commandments of Kamijoism

1. Thou shalt not love "cool" artists over Kamijo. (includes but is not limited to - Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus)

2. Thou shalt not call Kamijo "Gay." (He may wear make-up, but he's better then Justin Bieber by a LOT)

3. Honor the rest of the band (Hizaki may cross-dress, but Kamijo CHOSE to work with him)

4. Do not claim to love Kamijo more than another fan (Kamijo will not appreciate bloodshed in his name)

5. Thou shalt not bash the music and/or videos. (he may have been a vamp once, but he's MUCH better than Cullen)

6. Thou shalt not insult his voice. (It's DIVINE. End of story.)

7.Thou shalt do their best to convert the unbelievers (Success is preferred, but not mandatory)

8. Honor thy friend in Kamijoism (Epic wars over minor disputes are unwanted)

9. Thou shalt not insult the costumes (They are awesome compared to Lady Gaga's outfits)

10. Thou shalt not covet their neighbors Versailles Merchandise (Save your money and you can get one too)

Peer Editing in English Class

Yeah, so we were peer editing in English Class, and my *coughPERVERTEDcough* friend Katie was editing my paper...here's a comment I found funny -
He wore a loose-fitting dress shirt with ruffled cuffs and a rose at the collar, along with a black vest that had silver embroidery, tight-fitting black pants and knee-length laced boots.
She underlined that part and wrote this underneath -
Tasty!
I have very some perverted friends...lol

Breakin' Da Rules

Okay, so I'm not really breaking the rules. But it sounds cooler when I say I am! I'm currently at school right now, watching videos AND updating my blog. Gotta love Study Hall!

Yeah so...have a random pic:
And I like marshmallows.

(I said I was slighlty insane, didn't I?)

Shiro Bara (White Rose)

Emi gathered up her books, glad that the school day was finally over, and even happier that it was Friday. She was sick of geometric proofs and learning about WHY ancient Rome was such an amazing empire. Perhaps now she could enjoy some down time at home. Shoving her books unceremoniously into her bag, she walked briskly towards the door to the Shinkansen station. She was late last time, and she didn’t want to have to walk around Tokyo trying to get home while avoiding all the traffic. Again. Nor did she want to get there even slightly late and have to endure Kakekomijyousha, or “The art of rushing for a train.” It was never fun, and if she did mange to get on all the best seats were taken.
Halfway down the hall, she paused and turned around, feeling a pair of eyes on her. A shiver ran up her spine when she saw no one was there. Attempting to shrug it off, she turned back to the door and froze.
            Someone was standing there.
That shouldn’t have been too odd, after all school was out and people were leaving. But this person…
            He was staring at her.
No, staring wasn’t the right word. He was surveying her. He was sizing her up. Emi tried to hide the nervousness in her voice as she spoke. “You can stop staring now.” She said hotly, although her voice trembled slightly. “I’ll bet you didn’t find anything interesting.” It was true. Emi wasn’t exceptionally pretty like other girls. She was attractive enough, slim and willowy with dark brown hair and brown eyes. But nothing special.
The figure – she couldn’t tell who it was, as he was shrouded in shadow – chuckled. Emi scowled. “What’s so funny?”
“You.” Came the blithe response. “You think you’re not worth staring at, that you’re nothing special…oh how wrong you are.”
Emi took a step back. That tone of voice…the gleam in those pale, icy blue eyes…they were…
            Predatory.
“I have pepper spray!” Emi snapped tensely. That was a lie; Emi had nothing on her to defend herself. But she wasn’t about to tell him that.
Another chuckle, laced with amusement and oh so smooth and rich…
NO! Emi thought. I did NOT just think that!
“Your name is Emi, correct?” That voice was smooth and rich too…
Emi scowled, trying to dispel those thoughts. “How did you know?” She demanded.
He cocked his head to the side. “Does it matter?” He asked.
“At least tell me YOUR name!” Emi shot back.
He chuckled a third time, and Emi felt weak in the knees just from hearing it. “I am Kai.” He replied suavely.
“K-Kai…” She mumbled. For some reason, she felt dizzy and light-headed all of a sudden. What was wrong with her? She closed her eyes in an attempt to make the dizziness go away.
When Emi opened her eyes, she was in her own bed at home, not the dimly-lit school hallway. Confused, she sat up and looked around. Her eyes rested upon the small digital alarm clock and she froze.
            Three hours had passed.
What did he do to me? She contemplated what could have happened, and then decided she’d be better off not knowing, considering some of the possible scenarios she’d thought up. With a shudder, she slid out of bed and padded out the door, failing to notice the pure white rose in a vase on her nightstand. A rose that had not been there before.

            “…Flash flooding is expected…”
“…Versailles is coming to Tokyo for an exclusive concert…”
“…nomadic cult continues its pilgrimage through Japan, having reached Hokkaido…”
“…Recent studies show that teens with cell phones have a higher rate of…”
Emi surfed through the news channels, not really paying attention to anything. Suddenly, she felt cold. Shivering, she pulled her sweatshirt tighter around her. It didn’t help. Soon she felt as if she was in the Arctic Circle. Shivering violently, she shuffled up to her room and opened the door.
That’s when she noticed the rose.
She stiffened. Where did that come from? Emi wondered. Momentarily forgetting her chill, she reached out and touched it, only to yank her finger back as she pricked it on a thorn. Shaking her head to clear her jumbled thoughts, she climbed into bed and cocooned herself in the thick comforter, eventually falling off to sleep.

As the week went on, Emi had even more cold flashes. She took to wearing extra layers to help alleviate the stinging chill.
Scowling, Emi rounded the corner on her way home, only to hear a clap of thunder before the floodgates opened and the rain came pouring down.
Still a long way from the Shinkansen station, Emi made a mad dash for a vacant, dilapidated mansion she had passed earlier, hoping to find shelter there.
The doors swung open soundlessly, which should have made Emi suspicious, since this house was old and the hinges should have been rusted. However, Emi did snap to attention when the smell of roses reached her.
…The smell of roses, coupled with the coppery taste of fear…pale, ice-blue eyes and something sharp brushing against the tender skin of her neck...a gasp, and cold, pale hands holding her firmly in place as a sharp pain blossomed in the place where neck meets shoulder…
Emi felt her knees tremble as those memories came rushing back to her. That was what had happened. That man…
            He was a vampire.
Forcing herself to stay standing, she took a timid step towards the source of the scent. It originated from somewhere behind a large oak door, engraved with thorny stalks that had roses blooming from them. Taking a deep breath, she swung open the door.
She was in a small chapel, with rows of wooden pews and a small white altar. Candles burned on the altar and roses were scattered everywhere.
There was a whisper, a small sound, almost inaudible, but Emi heard it.
            “I knew you’d come.”
Emi turned to the source of the voice. There, sitting in a pew, was a man with short, wavy brown hair and creamy pale skin, with eyes an icy blue and dark circles around his eyes, as if they were cast in shadow. He wore a loose-fitting dress shirt with ruffled cuffs and a rose at the collar, along with a black vest that had silver embroidery, tight-fitting black pants and knee-length laced boots. He stared back at her evenly, his eyes calm and calculating.
Emi felt so many emotions whirling around inside her. Fear, intrigue, horror. She shuddered slightly, fully aware of how…magnificent his mere presence was.
Kai’s lips tugged upwards in a small, amused smile, showing off his glinting fangs. Those fangs sent a wave of terror down Emi’s spine, and she hastily stepped back.
In an instant, he was behind her, hands grasping her shoulders firmly. She wanted to struggle, wanted to break away, wanted to escape. But…
            The smell of roses.
For some reason, the fragrant smell of roses hanging in the air lulled her into a calm state. Kai watched as her head lolled to one side, exposing the bare skin of her neck. He licked his lips, running his tongue over his sharp fangs.
            Tantalizing.
Emi’s eyelids fluttered slightly as Kai's lips brushed the sensitive skin of her neck. His tongue darted out to lick a patch of skin, and he let out a contented hum before his fangs sank in to her neck.
Emi gasped as a sharp pain erupted in her neck, but Kai held her tightly, preventing her from squirming too much. She whimpered in discomfort. The pain was so much…
After what seemed like an eternity, Kai pulled away, and then wrapped his arms around her. “You are mine now.” He purred. "Mine forever."

Yeah. Turns out that fabric is fairly expensive.

I Have Caused CONVERSIONS!!!!

Okay, so I was on the NaNoWriMo youth site and I posted a link to an awesome music video by Versailles...and guess what? FOUR other people absolutely love it now!

The link to the video is:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5L_ZdM7nmzo&feature=related

I can understand why people love it though. The sound is awesome, and Kamijo's voice...it's amazing. As my friend CodeBlack said:
He has a voice like liquid gold, beautiful and thick, but it moves. It moves you.
I'm not even close to exaggerating when I say his voice is divine. There are NO words to adequately describe his voice.

Drabble - Quite Possibly the Darkest Thing I Have Ever Written

Thunder rumbled and lightning flashed all around, the spindly limbs of dead trees seeming to grab at the pale figure fleeing through the woods. Her breath came in ragged gasps, and her auburn hair was tangled and full of twigs, as it had been caught in the bushes multiple times during her frenzied escape. Her white silk dress was splashed with mud, one shoe was gone. But still she ran.
Suddenly her foot twisted and she went tumbling, hitting the cold ground with a hard thud, feeling roots and pebbles jab into her. Breathing heavily, she propped herself up on her hands.
            “Still going to run?”
Her head whipped around at the mocking voice. Standing there, impossibly clean despite the mud all around, was the one she fled from. His unruly dark brown hair hung over one eye, the other eye an icy blue. Around those pale orbs were dark circles, as if he never slept. He wore black and burgundy garments embroidered with intricate gold designs, and a single red rose was pinned to his chest. He gazed at her solemnly, but in the depths of his eyes there was a spark of frenzy. All in all, he painted a perfect picture of insanity.
The girl struggled to stand, but her injured foot would not allow her to. “Get away!” She demanded, but her voice carried a note of fear that did not go unnoticed by the man before her. He chuckled.
“Why should I?” he questioned. “You are mine, you know. Your body, mind, and soul, belong to me.” He smiled, his brilliant white teeth showing. “You cannot escape, my dear. No matter where you run, I will find you and drag you back.”
The girl trembled. “Please!” She begged. “Let me go!”
The man’s eyes took on a hard edge. “No.” He said coldly. “Have I not already said it? You are mine” He drew a sword from a scabbard on his belt, leveling it with her face. “Do you fear this blade?” Shivering, the girl nodded. “Good.” The man said. Gingerly he touched the tip to her throat. “Does this hurt?”
            “N-No.” The girl replied shakily.
“Would it hurt if I pressed harder?”
            She whimpered. “Yes.”
“That’s because the blade is like me – it can harm you, or it cannot. It depends on the amount of force behind it.” The man told her. “If you continue to try escaping, you put more force behind the blade, and it will harm you.” He traced a line down her neck with the tip of his sword, causing her to tremble violently. “Will you behave?”
She whined low in her throat. “Yes…”
“Yes what?” He prompted, applying just a little more pressure on the blade.”
The girl averted his eyes. “Yes….Master…” She mumbled.
He grinned and stooped down, lifting her up into his arms and turning to walk back the way he came. “You cannot escape.” He whispered into her ear. “You are mine.”

Shopping!

...Possibly. You see, I asked Mom if we could go shopping for the stuff to make my costume today, and she said...

MAYBE.

Don't you hate it when parents give you a Maybe?

Once again, the costume is SECRET!!!

Yay! Sunday...ugh, Church

It's Sunday again, which means I must go to church. I have nothing against going to church, it's just that I don't like MY church. Sunday School I like, but I try to avoid going to the service whenever possible for three main reasons -

1. Our pastor does what is called "expository preaching." That means he looks into a passage and sees if there is a deeper meaning. But most of the time after he finishes I'm like "Huh?" I just don't get it.
2. The songs are your typical worship songs - slow, soft, and DULL. Can't we at least once play some Skillet?
3. The Pianist always concludes a song with a speech about how wonderful God is. I agree, God is wonderful, but going off on a ten-minute speech that eventually nobody listens to because you're talking for so long is NOT. I seriously have to resist the urge to shout for her to get on with it already.

At least Dad lets me sit in the church library during the service...provided I either read a book of the Bible or write an essay. Or write an essay on a book of the Bible. And I always bring my MP3, so if I get REALLY bored I can watch videos on it. Thank God for technology.

Back from Homecoming, I Bring Gifts

Homecoming was awesome. I ate fried dough, wrote Haikus with the Literary club, and had a ton of fun.

Here's your gift: A pic of the SUPER GORGEOUS lead singer of the band Versailles, Kamijo!
Have another!
Isn't he so Gorgeous? (Yeah, I know, I'm crazy. But proud of it!)

Homecoming

Later today I am going to Homecoming and working two tables - the History Debate Club table and the Literary Club table. HD club is selling German Hot-Dogs, and the Literary club is selling biscotti, coffee and tea. It's going to be madness.

On a lighter note, no school on Monday because of Columbus day! That's when my Mom and I are going shopping to get the materials for my Halloween costume. It's going to be AWESOME. What is it?

That. is. a. SECRET~!

(The text is blue this time!)

Versailles Philharmonic Quintet - Ascendead Master

I'm watching a video and YouTube right now and decided to show it to you, since I love it so much. It's in Japanese, yes, but the music is awesome, and the singer is so HAWT!

Perhaps you will love it, perhaps you will loathe it. You'll never know unless you look!

What did you think of it? Personally, I love it!

And yes, the words are red.

Are YOU Slightly Insane?

Hello, welcome to Life Slightly Insane! Why did I choose such a title? Because it describes me perfectly! This blog will cover a variety of topics such as music, literature, art, and events in my life that I have found to be slightly insane, like myself.

When did I become slightly insane? It all started years ago, when I discovered manga. The crazy characters and slapstick comedy had me hooked, and soon it started rubbing off on me. But my true descent into slight-insanity began just recently, when I met some friends who were also slightly insane. It turns out that a multitude of slightly insane people left to their own devices become even more insane!

Some info about me - I love Japanese pop culture, mostly Japanese music and anime. I also love to write and draw, and this year I'm doing my first NaNoWriMo!

So anyway, if you are slightly insane, or perhaps even sane and just want to get a good laugh out of us insane people, come on in!
